ABSTRACT

The vast ocean is a crucial space for humanity's sustainable development, and the green and intelligent transformation of marine power/exploration equipment is becoming the core driving force for the global shipping industry to address climate change and enhance operational efficiency. This transformation fundamentally relies on two cornerstones: first, the precise measurement of equipment status and energy efficiency, and second, the deep insight into the massive data generated throughout the entire lifecycle.

This special topic focuses on "Data-Driven Green Marine Power," aiming to explore how innovative measurement and testing technologies and advanced data acquisition and fusion methods can provide solid support for the precise energy efficiency management, whole-lifecycle carbon footprint tracking, multi-scenario application assessment, and intelligent operation and maintenance (O&M) of marine power/exploration equipment. The topic will cover a wide range of scenarios, from deep-sea exploration to green shipping. The discussion points will involve cutting-edge fields such as the reliable acquisition and intelligent analysis of multi-source heterogeneous data, precise emission monitoring for alternative fuels like methanol, independent innovation in key parameter measurement/calibration technologies, and new paradigms for data-driven health assessment.

We sincerely invite global researchers to share their latest achievements at the intersection of marine metrology, data science, and green technology, and work together to propel the power systems of marine power/exploration equipment towards a lower-carbon, more reliable, and smarter future.
